May is blowing through too fast!

The May calendar turned over and is moving way too fast.  A week of STAAR and now ....we're looking at the last two weeks of school.  How can that be?  This post is LONG!!!!!

Fifth Graders are seeing the end of their days at RCE almost come to a close!

Kaitlyn McGuire was the last runner to represent RCE. She ran the 100 meter dash and placed 3rd!

By placing in all relays against the district, the total points pushed the RCE roadrunners to 1st place! We are so proud of Coach Moore and our amazing 5th grade speedsters!

We had a lot of Watch Dogs this week.  Thank you, Dads, for coming and spending time with us at RCE!
No Spirit Stick this week - hopefully next week all will be at their best for the last FULL week of school.

KRCE has passed the baton to Fourth Grade.  Hard to believe it's already time for Fourth Graders to step up as the KRCE Crew!  We had a great last group of Fifth Graders.  They did an awesome job up until the very end.

Second Grade has had a busy week - from cooking with Figlia Kitchens and having Kevin Kline from 93Q read to them.  An exciting end of the school year for sure!

Fifth Grade had fun with Archery this year - enjoy the video.

Book Fair is over!
Book Swap is NEXT WEEK!  - Bring your Gently Used PaperBack Books and we'll exchange them for other Gently Used Paperbacks!
Summer Check out begins on Thursday, May 25th.....families may check out books for the summer.  We'll give you a list of what you take out!

A last HURRAH for Fifth Grade this week - Think Through Math Pizza Party!  Every class won 50.00 for pizza and the students had to figure out how to order!  That's math in action!  I think they enjoyed the Pizza as well!

Oh yeah - Fifth Grade - Graduation is coming up....you need to clear your library records!
Enjoy the weekend.
