First Day of School

It's 9:30.  The halls are quiet. Parents have dropped off their children and left the building.  Students are in their classrooms working.  Mrs. Harn has started her grade level talks in the Kiva.  It's the first day of a great school year!

We are so excited to begin the year in our new building.   It's nice to know that we do not have to pack and move in just a few months.  We are settling in to our space.

This year we begin school with 704 students - lots of new faces in the midst of returning students.  We are ready to begin the school year.
