December Madness

Well, the hallways are quiet, most of the staff and students have left for the holiday break.  It's bleak outside, but the walls were rockin' today and all this week.

Even though the holidays are just around the corner, Rummel Creek teachers kept the students in learning mode.  Some of the lessons had a "Christmas Twist," however students were still learning.  In fact, Fifth grade students became the Science teachers for the Fourth grade.  Some great learning was going on in Mrs. Charles' room!

Second Grade did Christmas around the World and learned about traditions that we do from all over the world.  Crafts, research, writing and lots of reading went along with Christmas around the world.

Primary Reading Celebrations exploded in the Science Lab as students celebrated reading books all fall.  Books will be placed in the library in honor of each student participating.

Storytime with caroling in the library filled more time during the week.

Spirit Stick this week goes to RCE Fiddlers, RCE Choir and Rockin' Roadrunners!  They do such a great job of representing RCE.

Friday came - with it - parties and the Spirit Rallies.  Words can not describe, so enjoy the photos below that show the activity at RCE.

Merry Christmas!  Enjoy your holiday break.....see you back in January with ENTHUSIASM about LEARNING!!!!
